The company purchased Caesars Boylesports for 9.4 billion dollars ... before being acquired itself by Apollo Global Management and TPG Capital for 31 million dollars. New buyers, however, had to carry about 1.7 billion dollars in interest on debts for last year. The company, which employs 80 000 employees and owns 53 casinos in six countries, has a total Boylesports of 24 billion dollars. Its collections have slumped by 13.3% for the third quarter of 2008. The bulk of this drop is due to the decline in revenue of 7 casinos in Las Vegas. In early 2009, the casino's losses are still accelerating and many observers predict the same fate as the operator of the Tropicana. Other groups like Mgm Grand, Rivera, Fontainebleau and Stratosphere are no less. Are in red, ultra indebted to the edge of the crack. The Boylesports of American casinos are far from finished.
